For the Special Election in HD-87, the deadline is March 12th at 5 pm.
The deadline to request that a ballot be mailed is no later than 5 p.m. on the 12th day before the election. A Supervisor of Elections must mail the ballot within 2 business days after a request but no later than the 10th day before election day.
What is the Deadline to Return a Vote-by-Mail Ballot?
A returned ballot must be received, regardless of postmark, by the Supervisor of Elections' office no later than 7:00 pm (local time) on Election Day. A 10-day extension exists for overseas voters only for Presidential Preference Primary and General Elections, provided the ballot is postmarked or dated by Election Day. Untimely received ballots are otherwise not counted.
Where Do I Return a Vote-by-Mail Ballot?
A vote-by-mail ballot can be returned by mail or delivered in person. If returned by mail, it can be returned by the United States Postal service or through another private or commercial carrier as long as the ballot is received by the requisite deadline.Vote-by-mail ballots may also be deposited into secure drop boxes at Supervisors of Elections' main and branch offices until 7:00 pm (local time) on Election Day. Vote-by-mail ballots may also be deposited at secure drop boxes at designated early voting sites in the county. What is Absentee Voting?
Absentee ballots require a reason for requesting one, such as illness or for military personnel.
Mail-in ballots may be requested by any qualified voter with no reason required and can be used in lieu of absentee ballots.
In Palm Beach County, any qualified voter can request a vote-by-mail ballot.

Early Voting
Early Voting allows you the opportunity to cast your vote when and where it is convenient for you. The Early Voting locations we select in Palm Beach County are chosen with you, the voter, in mind, while remaining in compliance with Florida Law.
As long as you're an eligible registered voter in Palm Beach County, you can vote in any Early Voting site we have open.

Make An Appointment to Vote Early (Optional)
Avoid the Early Voting line and make an appointment to vote early. You can book an appointment time slot to vote at any Early Voting location during Early Voting hours for the election. Please book your appointment to vote early at a location and time most convenient for you! Appointments are designated 15-minute time slots. This is an optional program for those who want to schedule a time to vote. You are not required to make an appointment to vote during Early Voting.
What to Bring to the Voting Site
Please bring one or two forms of valid and current identification (ID) that include your signature and photo. If your photo ID does not include your signature, you will be asked to provide another ID that has your signature.
Note: If you do not bring your ID, you may still vote; however, you will be required to vote a provisional ballot, which will later be evaluated by the Canvassing Board for eligibility.
